Lars Edvinsson
Board Member | CSO and Founder
Professor Lars Edvinsson is one of the world’s most influential researchers in the fields of cerebral circulation and neurovascular physiology. He is internationally recognised for his pioneering work on vascular innervation, receptor regulation and the mechanisms that control blood flow in the brain. To a large extent, his research has shaped today’s understanding of the role of cerebral blood vessels in conditions such as stroke, migraine and other forms of primary headache.
Professor Edvinsson is the founder and Chief Scientific Officer (CSO) of Edvince, where his research has laid the foundations for the Company’s innovative drug platform. He is also the founder and director of the Glostrup
Research Institute at Copenhagen University Hospital, Professor of Internal Medicine at the Faculty of Medicine at Lund University and Senior Consultant at SUS University Hospital in Lund.
Lars Edvinsson’s efforts have been rewarded with several prestigious awards, including The Brain Prize 2021, which is awarded by the Lundbeck Foundation to researchers who have made crucial progress within neurology Professor Edvinsson is the President of the International Headache Society, a board member of the European Headache Federation, and an honorary doctor at Xi’an Jiaotong University in China. He has also received a Lifetime Achievement Award from the American Headache Society for his lifelong scientific contribution.
Professor Edvinsson provides Edvince with a unique combination of scientific excellence, clinical experience and innovation, making him a key figure in the Company’s strategic and research development.
Fredrik Molested
Board Member
Fredrik Molested holds a Master’s degree in Economics and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Law from Lund University. He has more than 15 years’ experience of auditing, financing and investments, both on the advisory side and in operational management roles.
After ten years as an auditor at EY, where he worked with both growth companies and large international groups, he moved to the role of CFO of the investment company Volito. Since 2022. he has been the CFO of the family-owned company Viarp Invest, which is an active shareholder in Edvince.
Fredrik has extensive experience of financial management, capital structuring, ownership issues and corporate governance in both entrepreneurial and established companies. He has had board assignments within several businesses, including as chairman, director and previously also as an authorised public accountant. In this way has built up a holistic view of commercial responsibility. financial control and value-creating corporate governance.
Erik Kinnman
Chairman of the Board
Erik Kinnman has nearly three decades’ experience from senior positions in the pharmaceutical industry, where he has worked as CEO, board member and strategic advisor in both listed and unlisted companies. His background combines in-depth scientific expertise with extensiveexperience of business development, clinical drug development,regulatory processes and fundraising. Kinnman is a qualified medical practitioner and a specialist within neurology and pain medication, and holds a PhD from Karolinska Institutet, where he is also an associate professor. In addition, he holds an Executive MBA from the Stockholm School of Economics and has completed the Advanced Management Programme at INSEAD.
Erik Kinnman is currently CEO of Vivesto AB, a Nasdaq Stockholm listed pharmaceutical company focused on oncology drug development. He has previously been CEO of companies including Abliva AB and SprintBioscience AB, where he led strategic transitions, built product portfolios and was responsible for raising capital in the order of hundreds of millions of Swedish kronor. In addition to his operational roles, he has had board assignments with a number of biotech companies. including Stayble Therapeutics and Immune System Regulation. He has previously also had senior roles at companies such as SOBI, AstraZeneca, Sanofi and Danske Bank.
Erik Kinnman brings to the Board a rare combination of medical, scientific and financial expertise. with a proven ability to navigate complex development programmes and create value in research-intensive, capital-dependent companies with international reach.
Tord Labuda
Board member
Tord is a life science CEO and board executive with extensive international experience across the pharmaceutical and biotech value chain, from early discovery to regulatory approval, launch, and commercial growth. He has held senior leadership roles in R&D, clinical development, medical affairs, commercial and general management, including country leadership in Japan and global responsibility for clinical development at LEO Pharma, and currently serves as CEO of Alzinova, a clinical-stage company developing disease‑modifying treatments for Alzheimer’s disease.
Tord brings a strong track record in business development, partnerships, and fundraising, as well as board and advisory roles in innovative life science ventures, and joins Edvince to contribute governance experience, strategic portfolio insight, and hands‑on mentoring of the executive team in advancing novel stroke therapies
