Edvince addresses four serious neurological conditions for which there have previously been no effective approved treatments – SAH stroke, focal ischemic stroke and global cerebral ischemia. All of these have high mortality rates and entail extensive healthcare requirements and high societal costs. Through a common mechanism of action (inhibition of the MEK/ERK1/2 signaling pathway) and a validated administration technique, Edvince has created a scalable drug platform with the potential to change the treatment landscape for multiple indications simultaneously.
