Louise D. McCullough
MD/PhD Professor and Chair, Department of Neurology. Roy M. and Phyllis Gough Huffington Distinguished Chair. Chief of Neurology, Memorial Hermann Hospital (Houston, Texas)
Professor McCullough is an internationally renowned expert in stroke and neurological gender differences. She has published more than 200 scientific papers and led several NIH-funded projects. Her research has contributed to new insights regarding individualised stroke care and is strengthening Edvince’s development in relation to cerebrovascular diseases.

Diana N. Krause
PhD School of Pharmacy & Adjunct Professor, Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences (University of California)
Dr. Krause is an internationally renowned expert in cerebrovascular pharmacology, with a particular focus on vascular plasticity and MAPK signalling. She has published a great many scientific articles and has collaborated for several years with Professor Lars Edvinsson on the mechanisms underlying Edvince’s drug development. With her scientific weight and international connections. Dr. Krause is an important advisor to Edvince.

Loch Macdonald
Clinical Professor in the Department of Neurological Surgery at UCSF Fresno (University of California San Francisco)
Dr Macdonald is internationally recognised as the world’s most cited expert in relation to subarachnoid haemorrhage (SAH). He has had a long and distinguished career within both clinical and translational research, with a particular focus on the pathophysiology of SAH and the development of new treatment strategies. Through his extensive scientific output and clinical experience, he brings in-depth knowledge to Edvince’s scientific network and development strategy.
Dr Macdonald has been the lead author of a large number of peer-reviewed articles on neurosurgery and neurointensive care, and has led several clinical trials focused on improving outcomes in the case of SAH. His work has had a major impact on how the illness is understood and treated globally. His involvement in Edvince is strengthening the Company’s clinical base and providing important insights into regulatory and therapeutic perspectives related to the Company’s development programmes.
Tiit Mathiesen
Professor of Neurosurgery at Rigshospitalet. Copenhagen University Hospital, as well as at the Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences (University of Copenhagen)
Professor Mathiesen is a leading neurosurgeon with expertise in the treatment of brain aneurysms. vascular malformations and complications such as cerebral vasospasm – key elements in the care of patients with aneurysmal SAH. He is the Chair of the Ethics Committee of the World Federation of Neurosurgical Societies and has published numerous articles in the field of cerebrovascular neurosurgery. He has been an important voice in the development of international treatment guidelines and has played a key role in several cross-border clinical collaborations. With his international network and clinical perspective, he is a valuable resource in Edvince’s development in this field.
